Cristina is the director and founder of Individual and Family Counseling Center. She received her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut in 1983. She pursued post-graduate studies at the Center for Study and Family Therapy in Milan, Italy. She has been working for 30 years with children, adolescents, and adults. She has been trained on Ericksonian as well as clinical hypnosis. More recently, she has been focusing on working with adults as well as couples. She has also developed a Weight Loss through Hypnosis program. She continues run the program at the Individual and Family Counseling Center. Cristina also published the book The Best You from Inside Out as a part of her weight loss program.

Madison Bull, M.Ed, LMHC is a psychotherapist at the Individual and Family Counseling Center. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Nichols College in Dudley MA in 2008. She then graduated with her Master's Degree in Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health from Springfield College in Springfield MA in 2010. She obtained her state licensure in 2013 and continues to remain in good standing. She works with all age groups, primarily adolescents and focuses on a variety of mental health concerns. She specializes in anxiety, depression and other mood disorders using a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach. She has been working in the field since 2010 and is also an adjunct professor at Holyoke Community College in Holyoke MA teaching social sciences courses. She enjoys spending time with her family and hiking with her dog. Madison welcomes clients to feel safe and comfortable in the therapeutic environment and truly believes that when you feel good, you are able to accomplish anything.
Jason C. Ravizza

Jason C. Ravizza, M.Ed., LMHC., C.A.G.S has 30 years experience in the fields of mental health and education. Jason has worked on all levels; psychiatric crisis services, hospital settings (child and adult units), mental health clinics, private practices, at the college level and within the school system. He has served in the capacity as a; Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, School Adjustment Counselor for the Springfield Public Schools, a Site Supervisor for Springfield College, Adjunct Faculty at Bay Path College and as a Counselor and as a Social Worker at the Baystate Child Partial Hospital Program. Jason works with patients experiencing; ADHD, RAD, PTSD, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, as well as a host of other diagnosis's. Jason works with all age groups and specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a client centered approach.
Jason has worked at: The Psychiatric Crisis Services, The Massachusetts Society of Prevention of Cruelty to Children, at Westover Job Corps, at The Center For Psychological and Family Services, at Valley Psychiatric Services, for the Springfield Public Schools and for the Baystate Child Partial Hospital Program, as well as The Adult Psychiatric Treatment Unit at Baystate Medical Center.
Jason received his Bachelors Degree and his Masters Degree from Springfield College. He received his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Educational Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Jason has Massachusetts Licensure in the following areas; as a School Adjustment Counselor, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and as an Assistant Principal and Principal at the Elementary Level.

Denise Miller-Zhang, Psy.D. is a Licensed Psychologist practicing at the Individual and Family Counseling Center. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 2009 at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and her Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford’s Graduate Institute of Professional Psychology in 2014. Dr. Miller-Zhang has worked children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, college counseling, Hartford Job Corps Academy, Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, and UConn Health Center. She has an integrated approach to working with individuals and families and pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Attachment Theory, and Interpersonal Therapy. Dr. Miller-Zhang specializes in treating anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, relational issues, and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). She also has expertise in assessing childhood behavioral issues and providing parent consultation for the management of challenging behaviors.

Tarn C. Martin MSW,LICSW was adopted and raised in Southern Vermont on a farm. Tarn's love of helping others led her to attending the Community College of Vermont before continuing on to earn a BA in Sociology from Smith College in Northampton, MA. Soon after Tarn attended the Smith College School for Social Work where she obtained a Masters in Social Work (MSW). Tarn has worked in several positions as a social worker throughout her career around the east coast which have assisted her in becoming an eclectic therapist with a wealth of knowledge in several facets of social work. Tarn generally uses CBT, Brief Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing as treatment modalities.
Before returning to the Western Mass area, Tarn worked full time as a Behavioral Health Consultant in four hospital affiliated practices; two pediatric and two general. This position increased Tarn's skills as a clinician due to the vast clientele. Tarn enjoys working with children and families and also finds couples counseling, working with men on issues of sexuality and working with women to increase and strengthen personal goals rewarding work. In her personal time she enjoys time outdoors, creating music and art and exploring new ventures; people and places. Tarn looks forward to assisting clients with any behavioral health needs.

Samantha Machado, M.Ed, LPC, LMHC is a licensed therapist in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. In June 2012, she graduated with a dual degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling. She obtained her state licensure in 2015 and continues to remain in good standing. She works primarily with the teenage to young adult population. She specializes in bereavement, depression, anxiety, family, and relationship issues. She also has been working at a local clinic for the past five years where she was recently promoted to the lead clinician. She focuses on a family systems approach along with cognitive behavioral therapy. She believes in a wrap around approach to therapy and building a strong sense of rapport with clients. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and animals in her free time.
